The Trucking Solutions Group held its fifth annual health awareness walk at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, Tx. on Saturday morning August 23, 2014.
It was a warm and muggy morning as the group stepped off from the truck parking lot behind the Dallas Convention Center.
For the first time the TSG decided to walk to a specific destination rather than just indoors in the convention center. We chose to walk up to Dealey Plaza, home of the Texas Book Depository Building and the site of the 1963 assassination of then President John F. Kennedy.
We paused for a group photo and then allowed some time for reflection as we all thought back to that fateful day in November of 1963 before heading back to the convention center.
Thanks as always to TA/Petro for sponsoring the event again this year and providing neck towels, which we all soaked in ice water before the walk began, to keep us cool on the journey.
